A fantastically capacious and enviably located, three double bedroom semi-detached house with a generous private rear garden.
The internal area stretches to over 1200 square feet of family friendly space. A large chunk of that on the ground floor consists of the through lounge, which is over 28 feet end to end. It has a huge bay window to the front ensuring plenty of natural light, and beautiful original door and windows to the rear. These lead to the sun room, which offers uninterrupted views of the private garden. The ground floor is completed by the kitchen, fitted with a range of base and eye level units, and which has access to the sideway.
Upstairs you’ll find three proper double bedrooms (so no arguments amongst the junior members of the family as to who gets which room) and the modern, three piece family bathroom.
Outside is that private garden, with lawn and borders, together with patio areas for al fresco relaxing when the Summer months return.
Living here... - Leyton or Walthamstow? Walthamstow or Leyton? Decisions, decisions. Well, with this house the decision is that bit easier, as it almost straddles the border between these two amazing areas. Stick in E10 (or E11 – they’re both great!) and there’s a wealth of things to do, from perambulating around Hollow Ponds on foot or water, to hitting one of the many great pubs and restaurants on Leytonstone High Road. Head across the border to Walthamstow, and the delights of the Village, Wood Street and the Ravenswood are all close by. Even commuting is easy, with Wood Street station just a stroll away. So, decision made…?
In This Area... - Leyton is home to the only shop that can be seen from space. OK, that's not entirely true, but the carnival shop on the High Road is definitely bright. There's no way you'll miss this multi coloured wonder, it looks like it's made of Lego. The shop sits opposite Coronation Gardens, a beautiful park with a little maze, pond and fountain. The High Road is also home to the Leyton Technical, a lovely pub that occupies the ground floor of the old town hall. It has good beer, good food, and the longest walk to the toilet you'll ever find. If you like beer, Leyton is the place for you, as both Brodie's Beers and Signature Brew (voted UK Brewery Business of the Year 2018) are based in E10. Sidmouth Park, just behind the carnival shop, is a hit with kids as there's loads of stuff to play on. If you are hungry or thirsty, wander to Francis Road and you'll find a bucket load of nice cafes, including Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, and Albert & Francis, as well as an increasingly interesting range
