An incredibly stylish recently refurbished, three bedroom, end of terrace family home, nestling peacefully on a quiet residential street just off Leytonstone High Road
Drink in the beautiful brick façade and then wander inside, where you will find two floors of immaculate presentation, including a stunning 250 square foot kitchen diner, with full width bi fold doors opening up to the private garden.
The ground floor features a delightful bay fronted lounge to the front, with a very useful ground floor cloakroom too. However, the undoubted star of the show is that kitchen diner. Beautifully fitted out with base and eye level units, and with plenty of room to eat as well as prepare, this is a room that will unquestionably become the hub of your family home.
Upstairs, you’ll discover three bedrooms (two of which offer access to the rear balcony), plus a sleek, modern shower room.
Outside is a private, south westerly aspect rear garden, with decked area for al fresco dining – a haven of tranquillity after the stresses of the day.
Living here... - Both Leyton and Leytonstone stations are within easy walking distance of this wonderful home, as are the many delights of Westfield and the Olympic Park. And you definitely won't be lost for places to take friends, with days (and evenings) out in and around E10 (check out the bars and restaurants in Francis Road) and E11 (the Sunday roast at The Red Lion is a personal favourite of ours).
For those of you who are active the Jubilee Centre (swimming pool and gym) is less than a 10 minute walk away as well as the Cathall Leisure Centre with gym and swimming pool also just a short 1 minute walk away. Now that summer is firmly here we recommend a visit to Epping Forest for a relaxing stroll or picnic, or perhaps an hour on the water in one of the boats on Hollow Ponds.
In This Area... - Leytonstone, or Leyton-St-One its posh nickname, is the birthplace and former home of Alfred Hitchcock. It gets its name, or the stone bit at least, from the Highstone mile marker which stands on Hollybush Hill. Bordering Walthamstow, Wanstead, Epping Forest, Leyton and Stratford, Leytonstone has a lot going on. The Northcote Arms, which is technically in Leyton, is the local pub. It's got a real community feel including Sunday drag nights, delicious stone-oven pizza and a wide selection of ales. Five mins down from the pub on Francis Road, stroll through "Leyton village" with its much-raved about restaurant Marmelo's, Yardarm wine and cafe and independent boutiques. On the Leytonstone side is the High Road where you can check out The Birds (spot the Hitchcock link?) or The North Star, tucked away in Bushwood. And If you want amazing views of the City, go on a tower tour at St John the Baptist Church. The views are simply spectacular, especially at sunset with the lights of
In The Owners Words... - We have lived at the property for more than 4 years and after recently extending and renovating have had the pleasure of enjoying the light and airy home. The street is friendly and very quiet with it being a dead end and the area we have seen evolve over the years to what is now regarded as one of, if not the, most vibrant and up and coming place to be in London, with a number of pop up/restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We have also appreciated the easy and quick transport links to both central London and the other way to Epping Forest whilst having the open spaces of Wanstead flats a 5 minute walk away. Overall we have loved living here and have many fond memories so will be sad to see it go!
