Guide Price: £850,000-£900,000. A wonderfully appointed four bedroom terraced home, arranged over three floors, with contemporary design blending seamlessly with beautiful period features.

The ground floor is over 950 square feet in area, thus ensuring plenty of communal space for the whole family. To the front is a generous reception room, replete with original plasterwork to the ceiling – a feature highlighted by the huge amount of light that floods into the room thanks to the bay window. Directly behind is an uber modern kitchen, complete with stylish fitted units, integrated appliances and highly polished tiled flooring – the perfect spot to show off your culinary skills for family and friends. However, the real heart of this wonderful home is the amazing reception room to the rear. Over 24 feet in length and offering 370 square feet of space, this is a room that will be a favourite with all of the family, whether it’s sitting down for Sunday lunch, curling up on the sofa for movie night, relaxing with a good book and a cuppa, or throwing open the full width bi-fold doors in the Summer and enjoying the smell of the BBQ wafting in from the fully decked garden. It’s truly a room for all seasons and all ages...

- The four double bedrooms (yes, four doubles) and two bathrooms (there’s also a ground floor WC) are divided across the upper floors, and all are as beautifully presented as the rooms on the ground floor. The size and number of the bedrooms once again provides plenty of space for all the family, thus ensuring constant familial happiness.

The property is completed by the aforementioned private rear garden, offering even more space in which to relax.

This is a truly special family home, spacious and immaculately presented, with an eye-popping attention to detail at every turn.

Living here... - Vibrant yet tranquil, historic yet modern, Upper Leytonstone seems effortlessly to achieve that all too rare feat – being able to indeed be all things to all men. It’s an area both buzzing with things to do and see, yet at the same time perched on the very edge of some of the best open spaces in East London in Epping Forest and Wanstead Flats. Night or day, energetic or contemplative, there is always something to do in this wonderful part of the capital, but if you do need to travel further afield then the excellent road and tube links ensure a journey as pain free as possible. It’s an area full of history, but overflowing with life, and if you don’t catch the Leytonstone bug once you’ve been here a couple of times….well, there may seriously be no hope for you.

In This Area... - Leytonstone, or Leyton-St-One as my friend calls it when she’s trying to sound posh, is the birth place and former home of Alfred Hitchcock. It gets its name, or the stone bit at least, from the Highstone mile marker which stands on Hollybush Hill. Bordering Walthamstow, Wanstead, Epping Forest, Leyton and Stratford, Leytonstone has a lot going on. If you are a fan of Thai food, wander down the High Road to Singburi - the Pad Talay is all kinds of amazing. The Northcote Arms, which is technically in Leyton, is a great pub with a real community feel, or on the High Road there’s The Birds (spot the Hitchcock link?) or The North Star, tucked away in Bushwood. And If you want amazing views of the City, go on a tower tour at St John the Baptist Church. The tours don’t run all year around, so you’d need to keep an eye on their website for dates, but it’s well worth doing. The views are simply spectacular, especially at sunset with the lights of the City set aga
